• Why is film important discussion/lecture/presentation series
• Students will discuss The questions:
  • what is a film? What is a filmmaker? What is the difference between good film an bad film?

Activities:

• Small group discussions, lecture, presentation

Day 3

Objectives:

• Why is film important discussion/lecture/presentation series
• Students will discuss The questions:
  • What is a story? Why do we tell stories? Are myths true?

Day 4

Objectives:

• Why is film important discussion/lecture/presentation series
• Students will discuss The questions:
  • What is a filmmakers responsibility? Do filmmakers have to have a message? Why are movies and TV so popular compared to other entertainment?

• paragraph essays: Why is film important in your life? Has it ever changed you? Is film Art?

• Group discussion in class surrounding essay responses.

As we are moving forward with technology integration I have decided that printers seem to be a hassle of the past.  so instead of printing or handwriting I am going to have written work turned in via Google Docs with the use of your Warriorlife account.  If you already have a password hat is awesome, if not I will have them for you next week when everyone has schedules sorted out.
