Library Goals
The Valley Christian School library’s main role is to support the school’s academic curriculum, while assisting students in developing a Christian worldview and deepening their relationship with Christ. The library aims to provide our students with a setting in which they may “pursue academic excellence “by using a “broad base of resources with morally redeeming value,” “[presenting Truth] in the major fields of learning.” The Valley Christian School librarians select materials which present both Christian and secular worldviews in a balanced manner, with the goal of using the secular materials to engage students in learning activities which ultimately lead to the discovery of Biblical Truth.
